One of my friends is having a not-so-great day. The last 24 hours hasn't been a wheelbarrow full of sunshine and rainbow-flavored kittens for me either. I know my friend checks this blog, so, this one's for you, K.
There is a lot of crap on the idiot box, but I give you a sample of near-perfectly* written and delivered modern comedy. You know, the kind that embraces it's intelligence, while throwing a pie in it's own moronic face. I've watched it probabaly a dozen times and the nuances still make me fight back the tears (while trying to keep a low profile amongst the herd) and fight the desire to stand and applaud.

*I must diclose that I'm partial to Mr. Colbert. He was an instructor of mine a while back - too many freaking years to count.
